Mental Health Moves: Cultivate Calm
Take a breath and place your finger at the bottom on the image (lower right corner). Trace the butterfly pattern and try to clear your mind of extra thoughts.
When you have traced the entire image, take a few deep breaths and notice how you feel. Trace your path back to the starting point and pause again to breathe and notice how you feel.
 
 
Try It This Week: Create a Calm Corner
Set up a designated calm space. Fill it with calming items like plants, pillows, photos and favorite things. This space can be a retreat when you need a mental break.
